There are two main locations to locate software and cloud applications that are free or discounted for Iowa State University students and staff:

  • Software sold by the Bookstore
  • Software for ISU Students (NOTE: if this link does not work you can browse to it from https://www.isubookstore.com/ by clicking INFO, then looking for Student Software at the bottom of the Students column)
  • Software for ISU Faculty and Staff

Adobe Creative Cloud

NOTE: Changes are coming to ISU's Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. 

Full-time faculty and staff at ISU have access to Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Adobe Stock and Adobe Firefly. To activate your license:

1. Log into https://login.iastate.edu/ and click the tile for Adobe Creative Cloud. This will sign you automatically into Adobe's website and activate your license - you may need to wait up to 1 hour for this process to complete. 
2. Download the installer at https://creativecloud.adobe.com.
3. After installation, log in with your net-ID and password to gain access to the full suite of programs.
