There are two main locations to locate software and cloud applications that are free or discounted for Iowa State University students and staff:

• IT pages
  • Software for Students
  • Software for Faculty and Staff
• BookStore
  • Software sold by the Bookstore
  • Software for ISU Students (NOTE: if this link does not work you can browse to it from https://www.isubookstore.com/ by clicking INFO, then looking for Student Software at the bottom of the Students column)
  • Software for ISU Faculty and Staff

Additional software for university owned computers is also available through Window's Software Center and Mac's Self Service. See the IT page on Software Center & Self Service for more information and instructions.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Full-time faculty and staff at ISU have access to Adobe's Creative Cloud suite (does not include Adobe Stock, Adobe Sign, and Adobe Captivate). To activate your license:

1. Log into https://iastate.okta.com and click the tile for Adobe Creative Cloud. This will sign you automatically into Adobe's website and activate your license - you may need to wait up to 1 hour for this process to complete. 
2. Download the installer at https://creativecloud.adobe.com.
3. After installation, log in with your net-ID and password to gain access to the full suite of programs.
