In order to use PubMed with the ISU Library you must be logged into a MyNCBI Account that set to use the ISU Library's resources from within PubMed.

1. Sign in or create an account with MyNCBI on the PubMed homepage
   • If you look under Other Login Options, Iowa State University is listed and you can log in with your NetID and password.
2. Click Account Settings
3. Click NCBI Site Preferences (near the bottom of the page)
4. Under the PubMed Preferences, click Outside Tool.
5. Click I on the A-Z list.
6. Select Iowa State University - Get it @ ISU
7. Click Save at the bottom of the list.

When you next use PubMed you'll notice that a button that says "Get it @ISU" now appears as an option under the Full Text Links menu (see yellow circle in image). Click this button to find out if the ISU Library has subscription access to an article.
