Who can help me write a data management plan?

Answer

Librarians can help you write a data management plan!

If you've never written a data management plan before we highly recommend that you speak to a librarian. Librarians can help with understanding agency requirements, connecting with campus resources, and data management and data sharing best practices. Contact your librarian, or the data services librarian, for assistance or to schedule a consultation.

If you have a draft ready you can send it to the data services librarian for review. During the review your plan will be "audited" against requirements and best practices before being returned with suggestions for improvement (if needed).

The library also offers two tools to help with data management plans: DMPTool and the Data Management Plan Guide which are linked below.
