Q. What art is on display at the library?

Parks Library is home to many original pieces of art.

Installed in spring of 2019, the Arts in Parks Collection highlights the work of contemporary women artists. Part of this collection is a series of portraits of Iowa State University alumni titled Faces of Iowa State (2016-2017) by American artist and Iowa native Rose Frantzen. This series can be found on the second floor directly off the central stairwell.

One of the most famous and well known pieces of art in Parks is a set of murals designed by the American regionalist artist Grant Wood. The murals can be found on the ground and second floor on the East side of the building.
