Can visitors to Parks Library access the Library's electronic resources (e-journals, e-books, databases, etc.)?
Answer
Access to most of the library’s electronic resources is available to members of the public visiting Parks Library while connected to the campus networks (including Eduroam).
For members of the public visiting Parks Library, the following resources are only available from a Parks Library workstation, and not from a mobile device connected to the campus wireless network:
- ScienceDirect (Elsevier books and journals)
- Scopus
- Knovel e-book collections
The following resources are not available to members of the public visiting Parks Library:
- Wall Street Journal at WSJ.com (Wall Street Journal content is available from ABI/INFORM Global)
- New York Times at nytimes.com (New York Times content is available from Opposing Viewpoints)
- O'Reilly for Higher Education
- SciFinder
